JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Evaluate the actual course development strategies, procedures, and processes, by suggesting improvements in quality and effectiveness of the course development policies;
  • Decrease the number of complaints on course;
  • Increase the overall productivity and capability of the training development department;
  • Improve the quality of the course content on various subjects that are based on ISO standards or other regulatory frameworks;
  • Guide the design, development, indexing, and maintenance of the training documentation;
  • Provide strategic consulting in all aspects related to the course development process and other related projects. Further, reviews the entire course development cycle, including the creation of articles, case studies, whitepapers, webinars and other promotional materials related to course development;
  • Follow the progress and tracks the performance of the course development team;
  • Review and assist in creating well-written documentation for actual and the new courses within ; 
  • Monitor end-user feedback and  plan steps to facilitate continual improvement of the course content;
  • Conduct cost analysis and determines  project timelines while making sure of meeting the deadlines;
  • Provide coaching and training if necessary to the course development team in accordance with the top management;
  • Propose corrective actions to management in case of discovered irregularities; 
  • Develop additional procedures and policies for the training development department if necessary;
  • Work with the existing staff to elevate their competencies in developing training courses;
  • Deliver necessary metrics and project reports, including list of issues, project updates, and status promptly to the  management;
  • Anticipate, identify, and provide resolution for complex obstacles to ensure the success of the overall course development programs and also specific projects;
  • Develop strategies and specific, ambitious, and clear performance measures for each project that are easily translated into deliverables and individual work goals for

DESIRED PROFILE

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Education, Business Administration;
  • Proficiency in English (written & verbal).
  • Preferably 20 years of experience in teaching, course development, learning methodologies or any other related fields;
  • Experience in implementing and evaluating course development programs;
  • Experience in implementing and auditing management systems in organizations.
  • Familiarity with International Standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 27001);
  • Highly analytical and possessing creative and intuitive problem-solving ability;
  • Ability to communicate and understand ideas and concepts quickly, clearly, and accurately;
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and with great attention to detail while being able to manage time accordingly;
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment;
  • Experience in one or a combination of the following ISO standard portfolios: Information Security, IT, Business Continuity, Service Management, Quality Management Systems, Risk Management, Health, Safety, and Environment ISO related;
  • Professional ISO certificates highly preferable, for example: ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and similar. 
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
