For our organization we are looking for an: Junior IT Developer M/F
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Bachelors/ Master degree (preferably Computer Science or Information Systems) or software development/programming certifications;
- Experience performance tuning a production application through code and database improvements.
- Understanding of software development life cycle;
- Good reporting skills; analytical skills;
- Good communicator and team member;
- Good Knowledge about JSP / Servlets - Android Dev - iPhone Dev, Web Frameworks Struts / Spring, Swing, SWT, AWT, JavaFX , Service Oriented Architecture / Web Services – SOAP / REST, Web Technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript and JQuery, Markup Languages like XML and JSON, Applets, Java application containers - Tomcat, JBoss/Wildfly, GlassFish;
- Database Programming/SQL experience with major DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL),
- Linux/Unix, Windows Platforms, Python, Team Tools Git, JIRA;
- Self-learner and self-starter;

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and understand business requirements working with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and enhance product offerings in accordance with design and consistent with business objectives.
- Ensure that development tasks are completed within timeline provided and that issues are fully tested with minimal defects.
- Under guidance of technical lead, ensure that solutions being developed are effective and take into consideration performance implications for a production environment.
- Conduct code and design reviews for development initiatives they are working on.
- Provide detailed estimates for development efforts as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to solve moderate to complex application problems independently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
