For our Client, an international company Phoenix Group, a market leader in Germany and main pharmaceutical distributor in Europe, they reflect on a successful and eventful history with roots in Germany and 11 European countries that date back more than a hundred years, we are looking for: 

                                            GENERAL MANAGER - TIRANA

  • Responsible for overall company management and implementation of strategic policy according to the corporate goals;
  • Development and implementation of long and short-term strategies in line with the business plan and in compliance with corporative guidelines, aimed at maximizing market share, sales and profitability targets;
  • Planning, development and setting the company goals at the market in accordance with the corporate guidelines;
  • Leads and coordinates the work of managers in the company, recruits the key positions, supervises the business strategy, controls financial performance of the company;
  • Directs and leads the team towards achieving business goals, such as market share, increase in turnover and profit, cost control and operational excellence and efficiency;
  • Ensures compliance with corporative values at all management levels in the company;
  • Together with department directors, creates the each department policy;
  • Plans business objectives, develops organizational procedures, coordinates the work of different departments and parts of the organization and establishes responsibilities and procedures for achieving business goals;
  • Reviews and analyses financial statements to determine the way of achieving company’s goals.  Revise the goals timely depending on the current situation on the market and in the company. Timely says audit objectives in line with the current situation in the market and in the company;
  • Manages and coordinates the activities in order to create new and innovative ways to maximize return on investment and increase productivity;
  • Initiates, organizes and coordinates contacts with key customers, suppliers, government organizations and public institutions;
  • Evaluates the performance of directors in accordance with the objectives and corporate policies;
  • Represents the interests of the company towards external partners, makes independent decisions on crucial importance for the work and market position of the company, and brings a final decision regarding the processes and resources in the company.

Traženi uslovi

  • University degree in Economy, Management or relevant field required;
  • At least 5 years in managerial level positions;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Presentation skills;
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction materials;
  • MS Office package;
  • Proficiency in English language;
  • Organizational and strong managerial skills;
  • International company experience;
  • The high level of organization, the ability of quick and analytical reasoning, intuitive reasoning.
  • Timely planning and organizing of work, good coordination and the ability to work in large teams;
  • The active listening skills, punctuality, negotiation skills;
  • Persistence, focus on setting high goals and their achieving, self-confidence, assertiveness in communication.
