Platforma mediatike Avid Media Central mundëson përpunimin, kontrollin dhe transmetimin në kohë reale të informacionit. Për të përzgjedhur stafin e televizionit A2, janë intervistuar më shumë se 500 profesionistë të medias në Shqipëri. Të përzgjedhurit i janë nënshtruar një trajnimi intensiv dhe shumë profesional, në aspektin editorial dhe atë teknik, të udhëhequr nga gazetarët dhe producëntët më në zë të CNN.

A2 is a CNN exclusive news channel affiliate headquartered in a major production center in Tirana.
A2 aims at raising the standards’ bar in the Albanian news and information delivery by changing the media reality and offering a fast, accurate and credible news source.
The channel will feature the latest technology in the media sector and it will rely on CNN’s expertise in training and developing its professional team.
A2, CNN exclusive news channel affiliate, is looking for both experienced professionals and talented youngsters, who are eager to learn and show highest integrity.
We are looking for an experienced senior professional with a technical/IT/engineer background and qualifications:
- Production/Technical Engineer/System Administrator
The ‘Production/Technical Engineer/System Administrator’ is responsible to run and manage all media production systems, to provide day to day technical support and to run maintenance activities for the A2 news channel.
Fluent Bilingual (spoken and written) in Albanian and English.
Απαιτήσεις
- To operate all broadcast equipment and technology within assigned operating areas, including but not limited to technical functions in a proficient manner (e.g. operating video switchers, implementing sources, creating displays, interfacing with external devices, creating user and suite preferences, user acceptance testing, creating and updating user manuals and procedure booklets, troubleshooting, problem solving, etc
- To demonstrate solid knowledge of plant signal flow/routing,
- To measure video signals to ensure quality control of A2/CNN endorsed standards on all operations using comprehensive knowledge of broadcast methods,
- To perform proficiently under strict timelines and/or live conditions,
- To file reports, as necessary, on specific working conditions and, equipment status at the request of management,
- To prioritize and disseminate complex information among the entire control room crew in a clear and concise manner to ensure seamless productions,
- To train others in operational areas and if so, required to generate training documentation and procedure manuals,
- To solve problem and troubleshoots using effective communication to best convey any issues needing resolution,
- To seek out information in regards to the workflow of other business units, including their impact and/or specific integration with production operations and utilizing that information to enhance processes and/or educate others,
- To participate in training programs, (physical, classroom, virtual, etc.) for self-career development and/or regarding any relevant equipment and workflow changes within the operation,
- To manage technical operations strategy working closely with division business leads and other operations and technology teams,
- To monitor day-to-day technical operations in a 24/7 production environment,
- To ensure reliable 24/7 performance of critical technical operations and facilitate continual process and quality improvement,
- To oversee content preparation and delivery as necessary to fulfill requirements for network origination licensed content delivery and other content distribution function,
- To coordinate with programming, content operations to ensure accuracy and quality of on-air services,
- Coordinate with program suppliers, studios and distributors to facilitate reliable content acquisition processes,
- To work closely with program directors, producers, reporters to coordinate delivery of live-to-air programming,
- To manage relationships with network creative and programming executives and provide technical support to help achieve their objectives,
- To manage budgets, including operating expenses and capital investment projects, and participate in long-range financial planning,
- "Hands on" engineer capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously,
- To forge and foster positive relationships with Infrastructure and support teams, broadcast operations/engineering, IT,
- To lead and manage multiple projects from conceptual stage through to launch including budget tracking and reporting,
- Introduction of new news gathering and production technologies and support existing technologies,
- On-air quality control,
- To ability to offer creative suggestions that enhance show productions,
- To collaborating with graphic department and editorial leads as new shows are developed,
- To organizing and maintaining switcher layout and other auxiliary equipment associated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies Engineering, Engineering with mixed content, Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field,
- Capable in technical terminology in Albanian and in English,
- At least 2+ years’ experience in IT environments or Telecommunications: preferably in news media broadcast fields systems or a TV station,
- In-depth operational knowledge and experience of pre/post production, live television, broadcast systems, technology, facilities and system design, and workflows,
- Experience leading project teams, effectively managing budgets, timelines and service providers,
- Proven ability to build strong relationships, effective teamwork and the ability to manage by influence,
- Some basic programming language know how,
- A desire to learn new technologies, processes and/or procedures as they are implemented and a willingness to work in other areas as assigned,
- Advanced computer skills and English language,
- Strong multitasking skills,
- Free to travel (training, national and international broadcast exhibitions and others),
- Very strong sense of responsibility.
