For our Client, a testing and inspection service company, we are looking for in Tirana:

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Employment Criteria:

  • University/Master Education as Accountant;
  • Two years of working experience in CFO position;
  • Commercially minded, fully capable of understanding the financials;
  • Genuine interest in coaching and developing our team members;
  • Positive attitude and aptitude to learn and grow;
  • Problem solver with the ability to close out the issues as they arise;
  • Demonstratable track record of taking ownership of their role/function and meeting key deliverables;
  • Ability to be hand’s on with financial operations and create change to improve overall processes and provide stability to the team;

Job Related Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivery of regular financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers;
  • Process of daily finance work in accordance with company Finance Manual and procedures;
  • Ensure implementation of company procedures and processes and suggest improvement where necessary;
  • Calculation of profit tax, direct and indirect company taxes, and all other taxes under Albanian legislation;
  • Controlling accounting records and operations;
  • Closing of sub-accounts;
  • Preparation and control of bank and cash payments processes and documents;
  • Monthly calculation of Payrolls and sending to all employee’s individual salary calculation;
  • Responsible for running the month end close process. Attention to detail and accuracy critical;
  • Co-ordinate month end balance sheet reconciliation process ensuring all bank reconciliations, creditor reconciliations, vat/social insurance reconciliation are accurately completed;
  • Responsible for ensuring implementation of the following rules and regulations: Albanian National Accounting Standards, IFRS rules, tax rules and tax legislation in Albania;
  • Contribute to the improvement of General Ledger process/service level and overall quality;
  • Ability to assess, refine and improve our existing processes;
  • Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures;
  • Run year end audits;
  • Be guided by the principle of professional ethics.
