JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepares and administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization staff; prepares the development and assists in implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
  • Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all employees and interns; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program; and writes and places advertisements.
  • Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Maintains compliance with state employment and benefits laws and regulations.

DESIRED PROFILE

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 5+ years’ experience in an HR role (Generalist or Specialist).
  • 3+ years' experience supporting senior leaders in a cross-functional environment.
  • Preferred 5+ years' experience working with HR data analytics tools.
  • Preferred 5+ years' experience developing/implementing policies and regulations
  • Understanding of, and some experience with, most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; performance management; employee development).
  • Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations.
  • Strong expertise in developing solutions and influencing others based upon facts/data analytics.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present their point of view in varied business situations.
