For our Client, an international non-bank microfinance institution based in Tirana, are looking for:  


Head of Accounting is responsible for the management of accounting function related to but also of other functions in the finance area like; processing of payments, external and internal reporting, financial analysis of loans performance, development of new products and controlling.


  • Bookkeeping for all transactions in & out from bank accounts and data in all modules of local accounting system;
  • Register in local accounting system all the information needed for the result of the company;
  • Performs correspondent account reconciliation between reports, bank statements, local accounting system Internal system of the clients;
  • Record fixed asset acquisitions& Calculate depreciation;
  • Prepare& report different reports daily, weekly and monthly basis;
  • Prepare all tax calculations based on local law;
  • Prepare all fiscal & labor declarations based on local law;
  • Compiles information pertaining to budgets, accounts, inventories and other financial reports;
  • Organize information on registered expenses to help plan budgets for future expenses;
  • Prepare quarterly reports for BoA SRU reports;
  • Update & maintain the hardcopy & electronic  archive for finance documentation;
  • Prepare required auto-invoices for outsourcing services based on service agreements;
  • Part of Pay Out & repayment process;
  • Other duties based on ongoing situation;

Kërkesat e profilit

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, preferably accounting or Finance. MBA or MSC in Finance or Business Administration is preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of fiscal practices, tax legislation, International Financial Reporting System (IFRS) and local reporting standards.
  • Planning and estimating ability;
  • Always be in line with institution’s mission and corporate values;
  • Fluency in English.
