  • Media Relations:
  • Support implementation of media strategies, tactics and messages to achieve maximum measurable impact;
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with relevant journalists, broadcasters and commentators in media;
  • Prepare and support formulation of background notes, speeches and talking points for public appearances;
  • Support development and use of related infrastructure, including press lists, media monitoring services, online broadcast video delivery services, etc.;
  • Offer expert advice on reputational and other media risks arising from programmatic, policy and campaigns issues;
  • Develop media outreach plan to identify and build relations with a network of traditional and specialized media and maintain these relations to increase organisation’s media profile;
  • Produce media briefs, kits and timely press releases and build internal capacity to work with media effectively;
  • Actively create media visibility opportunities for employer’s senior management, preparing talking points, and facilitating radio, TV and print media interviews where necessary;
  • Drafts media announcements, releases and advisories, and pitches stories to journalists and organizing press briefings, as directed.
  • Social Media:
  • Develop and implement a Social Media Strategy with communications team aligned with the client organizational communications strategy, imparting key “unique selling points” with audience-specific, and tailored content;
  • Develop targeted social media campaigns for client’s products, events, and milestone days;
  • Manage and develop innovative and strategic cutting-edge social media content and campaigns, grow client’s audience on social media and emerging platforms;
  • Promote client’s search engine optimization and provide monitoring and analysis to streamline performance for better outcomes;
  • Keep up-to-date with new trends, developments and opportunities in the digital space and recommend how to exploit them to help achieve corporate goals and implement them;
  • Build relationships with social media editors at leading news and media organizations, helping to secure external placement of client’s content and enhance coverage of its work.
  • Communications:
  • Provide support and lead (where needed) in developing high quality communications content for external and internal use;
  • Work with various departmental teams to ensure that the communications activities calendar is kept up to date and is applied for weekly planning in consultation with the Senior Communications Officer;
  • Ensure development of high quality content and dissemination of internal and external monthly newsletters;
  • Develop subject specific content for external use as and when required;
  • Provide editorial support to web-content development.
  • Event Management:
  • Plan and organise promotional, business and social events;
  • Responsible for running a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly;
  • Organise trainings, committees, conferences, seminars and exhibitions, as well as events, workshops and corporate incentive trips;
  • Manage the whole process from the planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation;
  • Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements;
  • Research venues, suppliers and contractors, then negotiate prices and hire;
  • Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel).

Kërkesat e profilit


  • University degree (Master’s or equivalent is an advantage), preferably in communications, media, journalism and other related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience for those holding a Masters degree (5 years for aBachelor’s degree).
  • Experience of working in a creative public relations or marketing role where responsible in media relations and all aspects of communications and event management work.
  • Proven ability to achieve coverage of issues and experts.
  • Proven ability to develop good content.
  • Ability to work independently, be representative and responsible, as well as strong stability at the work;
  • Good computer skills and knowledge (MS Office, Photo editing, etc).
  • Fluency in both written and spoken in Albanian and English.
