A2 is a CNN exclusive news channel affiliate headquartered in a major production center in Tirana.

A2 aims at raising the standards’ bar in the Albanian news and information delivery by changing the media reality and offering a fast, accurate and credible news source.

The channel will feature the latest technology in the media sector and it will rely on CNN’s expertise in training and developing its professional team.

A2, CNN exclusive news channel affiliate, is looking for both experienced professionals and talented youngsters, who are eager to learn and show highest integrity.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a marketing and sales background and qualifications:

  • Media Sales (Menaxher/e Shitje)

The “Media Sales Manager” includes, selling advertising space to businesses and individuals. They contact potential clients, make sales presentations and maintain client accounts.

Fluent Bilingual (spoken and written) in Albanian and English.

Απαιτήσεις

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To use an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business and to conduct client meetings and to manage a portfolio of accounts,
  • To deliver sales presentations to high-level executives and to develop new business and to achieve sales targets,
  • To liaise with internal staff and procedures to deliver effective campaign solutions and to complete administrative work, as required,
  • To contact potential clients, over the phone and also in a face to face environment (client presentations, client days out, business lunches/dinners) to describe potential advertising opportunities,
  • To develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the market place you work in, including regular analysis of competitor activity and identifying opportunities for new product development and new revenue streams,
  • To attend industry networking events, exhibitions, seminars and conferences to build awareness of your industry and meet potential and existing clients.
  • To work closely with the editorial features team to ensure all leads are covered and relevant information exchanged to the benefit of both parties,
  • To work closely with production departments to ensure advertisements are placed into the correct products, in the right place and at the right time,
  • To work closely with the advertising operations team (Web Journalist, Web Master) to ensure the correct advertisements are placed on the correct websites pages at the correct time, according to your clients’ wishes,
  • To keep accurate records of sales, contacts and deals and to produce financial and media plans and forecasts,
  • To explain the benefits and potential audience of specific media offerings to potential clients,
  • To maintain excellent relationships with all clients in the executive's portfolio,
  • To meet clients outside of normal business hours when necessary,
  • To research client needs and explain the benefits of buying advertising space, responding to any objections,
  • To undertake extensive market, audience and client research to recognize, find, research and secure new clients and to analyze and to interpret data,
  • To research and to compile tailored monthly analytics and ad reports for all key stakeholders and senior managers,
  • To penetrate new markets and market mapping in the particular sector in the region,
  • To build Partnerships with Media agencies, regional partners and help them get brands on board to advertise,
  • To prepare promotional plans, sales literature, media kits, and sales contracts,
  • To analyze sales statistics and preparing reports about clients’ accounts,
  • To build awareness of the Network's desirable demographic and to be proactive, think out of the box, creative, utilize resources and take advantage of opportunities based on the market.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a Related Field,
  • At least 3+ years’ experience, preferred previous Sales or Media Experience or television advertising sales experience,
  • Outgoing Personality, Interpersonal Skills, Persuasiveness, Likeability, Confidence, Customer Service, Maintaining Relationships, Listening, Resilience, Creativity, Adaptability, Organization, Detail-Orientated, Multi-Tasking, Reliability,
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,
  • Good negotiation skills and the ability to respond to objections,
  • To have a good awareness of targets and revenue and have strong self-discipline and attention to detail,
  • Strong client relationships and strong agency relationships to get immediate awareness of programming initiatives,
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed,
  • Must have excellent PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills,
  • Strong product focus and a passion for technology and tech innovation,
  • Strategic Thinking and strong negotiator,
  • CRM experience is needed and commercial awareness and networking ability,
  • The ability to work under and handle pressure and an excellent telephone manner,
  • Diplomatic and thick skinned,
  • Sociable and outgoing personality.
