Aleat Sh.p.k., is an Albanian Joint Venture company of Idemia Identity & Security (previously Sagem Sécurité) and the Albanian-American Enterprise Fund (AAEF) for the production and the distribution of the ID Cards and Biometric Passports for Albanian citizens. www.aleat.al

For our organization we are looking for an IT Services Administrator.  

SUMMARY

He/she is reporting to the IT Services Supervisor and is a focal point on the main critical business and technical applications, practices and workflows for the IT Services team perimeter and he ensures that internal and external users are receiving the appropriate services and support. He is an excellent technical and functional incident solver and he has the expertise for the all procedures related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of end user requests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process incoming incidents to IT Services team via different channels (ticketing tool, phone, mail, etc.) to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end user issues with high level of satisfaction;
  • Ensure 1st level expertise for administration, maintenance, availability, confidentiality and integrity of all applications, software’s and Aleat Databases related to IT Services perimeter;
  • Participate to resolving emergencies and trigger a formal escalation;
  • Identify repetitive technical and functional Incidents and communicate to the IT Services Expert in order to trigger deep RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to eradicate the identified Problem(s);
  • Proactively address issues before they become problems for end users;
  • Keep updated record of issues along with solutions in the ticketing system, for future reference and Knowledge;
  • Be available for on-call support and field missions during nights and weekends;
  • Act as a continuous source of knowledge and mentor for the junior team members on daily basis;
  • Collaborate with IT Security team in order to ensure a mature secure and operational robust environment/system (mainly for MEVA and CS IT) for the assigned applications;
  • Collaborate with IT Administration team in order to ensure an operational environment for the assigned business applications;

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in a mechanicals / electronics engineering, or related fields;
  • Software install, repair, backup and reconfigure applications;
  • Troubleshooting network related problems, providing new LAN connection and configuring new LAN connections;
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments;
  • Setting up and installing new computers, networks and software;
  • Setting up user accounts and profiles on the network;
  • Installing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software and other applications such as Microsoft Office (Excellent knowledge on Linux and Windows OS);
  • Experience with Linux repository management, system patching, and CLI administration;
  • Experience in administering accounts and policies in an Active Directory, Samba environment;
  • Ability to debug and improve infrastructure installation and configuration scripts written in PowerShell and BASH.
  • Demonstrated responsiveness, resourcefulness, and follow through;
  • At least two years of experience in an IT related field;
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English;
  • Possessing a driving license;

Would be an advantage

  • Diagnosing hardware to determine causes and suggest solutions, focusing on electronic boards, PLC, sensors and actuators;
  • Equipment failure analysis and diagnosis;
  • Testing tools as multimeter to measure voltage (AC/DC);
  • HW repair by swapping or system tuning;
