We are looking for an Electrical and Mechanical Site Manager for a project in different locations in Europe
Responsibility:
1. Organization and daily planning of mechanical and electrical assembly.
2. Update of the work plan, taking into account the electrical and mechanical aspects.
3. Conducting daily meetings with subcontractors, client and internal departments.
4. Control of the material present on site necessary for mechanical and electrical activities in accordance with the assembly plan.
5. Coordination of the construction team, including mechanical and electrical workers.
6. Constant interfacing with the Site Manager, the Site Coordinator and the Project Manager.
7. Interpretation and implementation of technical assembly drawings, detail drawings, various layouts, P&IDs, etc.
8. Use of 3D software (reading via Naviswork 3D) to understand the mechanical and electrical aspects of the project.
9. Plan alternative mounting strategies if necessary.
10. Updating Excel files for progress and to track needed/missing materials.
11. Drafting PPT presentations with photos, schematics, diagrams, etc., highlighting both mechanical and electrical progress.
12. Control of hours and workstations, ensuring compliance with times and budgets.
13. Anticipation of possible problems during the assembly phase, proposing effective solutions from both a mechanical and electrical point of view.
14. Costing of activities relating to mechanical and electrical aspects.
15. Evaluation of the technical requirements for offers relating to electrical and mechanical aspects.
16. Management of the Punch List, including the mechanical and electrical aspects of the project.
Requirements:
1. Training as a mechanical expert, mechanical engineer or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in the oil & gas sector, piping, painting systems or similar sectors with in-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical aspects.
3. Working knowledge of English and Italian.
