Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is seeking a dynamic, team oriented and result driven Manager of Leadership / Learning & Development. The ideal candidate will represent the entire business, and makes a positive impact with every customer, vendor, and employee.

The Manager of SCM Leadership/Learning & Development is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of leadership development and soft skills programs for non-frontline Supply Chain team-members across Supply Chain, both retail and mobility. This includes accountability for the development and implementation of training strategies, plans, and processes that drive departmental goals and align to enterprise Talent & OE Goals in partnership with the Supply Chain training team

Requirements


Primary Responsibilities:
 

Contributes to the design of leadership/soft skills learning development programs
Implement leadership/learning and development programs across non-front line team members in North America Supply chain including TLC and PSDSS.
Project management: Develops project plans; tracks timelines, resources and deliverables; prepares and delivers regular progress reports; proactively escalates dependencies, barriers, risks; plans and executes after-action reviews.
Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching
Development & implement communication strategy in partner with SCM Communication’s lead to build awareness throughout SCM and reinforce learning and ensure participants and Managers are aware of expectations and vision for learning & development program.
Facilitate learning and development Sessions for non-frontline team members
Utilize political agility and effective cross-functional relationship building to gain key leader buy-in for current and new initiatives in Supply Chain
Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency and quality of training services offered
Consult with company leaders, specified client groups, subject matter experts, and other internal and third party learning and development professionals to gain an understanding of the business needs and required business performance results.
Manage relationship with third party vendors
Develop metrics for measuring program success and creates and maintain SCM Training Scorecard
Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

Qualifications:
 

Proven design experience that incorporates adult learning principles and results in interesting, engaging, and relevant learning programs.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Delivers clear, concise and influential messages, both verbally and in writing.
Proactively manages projects to ensure budgets, schedules, and performance criteria are met for large, multi-year projects
Platform and facilitation skills including the ability to deliver interactive presentations and lead meetings. Facilitation experience with senior level leaders a plus.
Strong experience in performance diagnosis, needs assessment, analysis, and business case development
Working experience as an administrator of a Learning Management System (LMS)
Experience in design and delivery of programs and processes that build leadership bench strength
Excellent relationship building and influence skills.
Ability to develop credibility and rapport with senior executives
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Develop, implement, and approve course materials required for classroom training to include handouts, exercises, tests, documentation, training records and certifications.
Create and implement methods to make education-training results tangible and measurable.
Provide individual/group training, seminars, and computer Web-based training.
