Your first and last name influence on your career

During the months of waiting for the baby, parents think of hundreds of names; and one in five pities for the name choice.

According to some research, the name plays an important role in the career and success of a person. Sometimes, when we learn a person's name, we have the feeling that the name fits best to him. Maybe it's not just a self-orientation.

According to American researchers, there are more opportunities to achieve high positions at work, a person whose name is short, simple and easy to pronounce. Also, according to a Marquette University study, people with a rare and complex name have more difficulty in hiring.

By deepening even more in this study, researchers have noticed a link to the initials of the name and surname. For example, persons whose surname begins with one of the first letters of the alphabet have more advantages in school; while people whose surname begins with one of the last letters of the alphabet will be more prone to hasty shopping. This is the conclusion of the Economics of Education Review, which argues this action with the fact that these people, being always the last in the list, live with the anxiety of losing time and habits.

Lastly, the specialized Psychological Science magazine brings to mind a German study, according to which those who have a noble and clear adjective have more opportunities to reach senior management positions.
