Are you interested in an Internship Training opportunity with TeachAway? We welcome individuals who are graduating and have recently graduated with an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in the training. Through these training, you will gain meaningful, hands-on full time or Part time internship opportunities working for an Education-Tech company.

At the end of this training you will

• Acquire strong knowledge of PHP and WordPress
• Gain experience with AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Be able to create a fully responsive website development
• Develop WordPress theme and plugins
• Be able to optimize themes and plugins to reach high performance metrics
• Be able to optimize page experience, including mobile friendliness and core web vitals
• Gain further insight on SEO optimization and content management

Acceptance Criteria:
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PHP, HTML/CSS
• 70% clearance in both the training modules.

Training schedule
We will conduct a training of 2 modules.

• Starting to Code in PHP
• WordPress Specific PHP

PHP Coding in Agile Methodology:
This Module will be conducted for 5 hours in which 4 hours will be training sessions and the last 1 hour will be a test.

Break Down:
1 Week of training- 4 Times a week
Each session will be 60 minutes in length
Last session will be a test

Pass criteria:
People who pass the first training will move to the second module.

WordPress Specific PHP:
This Module will be conducted for 5 hours in which 4 hours will be training sessions and the last 1 hour will be a test.

Break Down:
1 Week of training - 5 Times a week
Each session will be 60 minutes in length
Last session will be a test

Pass criteria:
Pass percentage of 70 % from the final test.

Internship opportunities:
Four openings are available for the most talented participants at the end of the training program.
