· Salesforce Developer Consultant
o Using Salesforce technologies like Apex, VisualForce, SOQL.
Requirements, skills and experience:
Mandatory:
Salesforce 1+ year of experience: At least 1-year experience working with the Salesforce Platform, both point-and-click tools and coding.
Apex: Experience with Apex programming language. Must have a good understanding of how Apex interacts with visualforce, SOQL, etc.
Visualforce: Experience in creating custom VisualForce pages in Salesforce.
SOQL: Good practical knowledge of SOQL in Salesforce. Know-how and best practices of using SOQL in Apex implementations.
MVC: Must have a good concept of how MVC works as an architectural pattern. Experience with building Visualforce-Apex-SOQL from front-end to back-end in Salesforce is a Must.
Good technical documentation: Must have a basic understanding of technical requirements and translating them into implementations.
SObjects and Data Modeling: Good understanding of Data Modeling and how SObjects work in Salesforce. A good concept of how ORM-like frameworks work.
Unit Testing: Basic experience with Unit testing in Apex (Working with other Testing frameworks like JUnit is also valued as a good skill).
Fluent in English.
Optional:
Lightning Framework: Good knowledge of Lightning framework in Salesforce.
RESTful web services: Experience with developing Restful web services and REST clients.
Deploying and changesets in Salesforce: Understanding of how deployment works in salesforce, how change sets work, etc.
Salesforce developer certificates: Certificates like App Builder, Dev 1, Dev 2, etc are a good advantage.
JSP/JSF or Angular/React: Knowledge with Java Server Pages and Java Server Faces is a good plus. Knowledge to and from Visualforce can be applied here. Also, experience with other SPA frameworks like Angular and react is also a plus and knowledge from them can be transferred to and from Lightning Framework.
Good Knowledge of Java: Having a good knowledge of Java is a good advantage.
