Your tasks
• Monitoring, control, and support of the Lan Network;
• Development of efficient solutions in the network area;
• Administration of server systems all over the network;
• Network Connectivity;
• Documentation in the form of an internal wiki, create or update technical documentation for network installations or changes to existing installations
• Completed training as IT specialist/system integration or equivalent qualification;
• Work experience in networking/servers;
• Good knowledge of the operating system Linux (Debian based), especially with the services/ programs: NFS, Samba, Postfix, OpenLDAP, Squid, Bind, iptables, OpenVPN, x2go, IPsec, Visualization;
• Experience in IT security, antivirus, and firewall;
• Good knowledge of network architectures [TCP / IP, switching (VLANs), routing, DNS, etc.] and the elimination of faulty states;
• Structured, systematic way of working and a high degree of self-responsibility;
• Commitment, reliability, resilience and team spirit;
• Keep a record of changes and able to solve the problem quickly;
• Must be comfortable with CLI, and perform a major task using CLI;
• Configuring network hardware like servers, routers, and switches;
• Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration;
• Ability to work with Linux-friendly applications and able to troubleshoot it when an issue arises from the server.
