  • To advise the Group Companies on any potential risks to the profitability or their existence. Identify and assess threats, put plans in place for if things go wrong and decide how to avoid, reduce or transfer risks;
  • To contribute to the Internal Audit function by identifying risks associated with business objectives and evaluating the controls in place to mitigate those risks in order to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes;
  • To provide value-added advice and support to business partners on the creation or modification of policies, procedures, processes, products or services to ensure an appropriate level of internal control and compliance is maintained.

  • To ensure the establishment of Risk Management functions in all group companies and their alignment with Risk Management Standard;
  • To ensure adequate and comprehensive risk management framework that enables the development and update of the policies, methodologies, processes and tools for an effective management of the risk;
  • To establishe and oversee the implementation of the practices for identifying and assessing operational risk, in particular: the Risk Control Self- Assessment, Key Risk Indicators, process risk mapping and risk events assessment;
  • To review and evaluate, under risk prospective that new/update products, activities, process and systems might have in the risk profile of the company/department in order to ensure the adequacy of the internal control mechanisms;
  • To define, in collaboration with the CEOs/heads of departments/units, the permanent controls and their frequency in order to minimize the identified risks;
  • To provide support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the Group


  • Bachelor’s degree in the following subjects: risk management, finance or economics, science, statistics;
  • Proven experience or knowledge of risk management;
  • 2 to 3 years experience in Branch Audits (in the Group Services Industry preferred);
  • Solid understanding of risk and control concepts. Ability to apply these concepts to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls to mitigate risk to tolerance levels defined by management ;
  • Analytical skills and risk awareness, including prioritization and ability to make brief synthesis of the issues;
  • Be detailed and results oriented;
  • Technical acumen;
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
  • Analytical skills and a good eye for detail;
  • Ability to cope under pressure;
  • Planning and organization skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Commercial awareness;
  • Numerical skills and the ability to evaluate costs;
  • Ability to understand broad business issues.
