Under the supervision of the Registrar, the Assistant Registrar will assist in the day-to-day implementation of the project and in the management of the operation’s registry (administration, coordination, controlling, drafting of written materials, etc.).


  • Assists in performing registry services including receiving, reviewing and proofreading as well as processing all incoming and outgoing official communication;
  • Provides direct support regarding general administration and document management; scanning of physical records and timely dispatch of outgoing mail;
  • Maintains and updates the filing system by organizing, labelling/renaming and preserving physical and digitized records;
  • Initiates review/inventory of files contents, facilitates records transfers into the archives, applies retention schedules and archiving policies, oversees space allocations and monitors environmental conditions;
  • Responds to inquiries and requests; searches for information and documents; and, updates relevant databases.

Kërkesat e profilit


  • Bachelor’s degree in law, public administration, library or information management sciences, or social sciences;
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience of records management practices, or a minimum of four years of administrative/clerical experience, preferably in records management or archives or comparable work;
  • Experience in an international organization would be an asset;
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic document and records management systems;
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft packages;
  • Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Excellent organisational and self-management skills;
  • Albanian citizen.
